The description editor offers you, as a learning guide, many options for customizing tables—both for layout purposes and for displaying data. In this article, you will learn how to adjust table frames and cell borders so that they appear invisible.

📌 Step-by-step: Creating “invisible” frames

1. Insert table

Use the “Insert table” button in the editor menu. You can specify the number of rows and columns directly when inserting.

2. Select table

Click on the table to select it. A context menu will appear with the following options:

  • Add column

  • Add row

  • Merge cells

  • Table properties 🛠️

  • Cell properties 🛠️

To make the frames invisible, you need to use the table and cell properties.

3. Open table properties and adjust borders

Go to the “Table Properties” menu. 🛠️

In the next step, select the frame type “Dotted,” the color white, and the width “0”.

Done! 😀 Now you just need to adjust the cell properties!

4. Open cell properties and adjust the frame

Go to the “Cell Properties” menu. 🛠️

In the next step, select the frame type “Dotted,” the color white, and the width “0”.

Tip: You can also select multiple cells at once. However, your changes may sometimes not be applied. Therefore, the safest option is to adjust the cells individually.

🎯 Conclusion

With just a few clicks, you can design tables that fit perfectly into your layout—without any visible borders. Ideal for modern, tidy content! 💡✨
