With the AI feature in MLS, you can create or revise your learning content even faster and more specifically.
Whether you want to improve existing texts or need completely new content - the AI will help you. And best of all: your data remains secure in Germany.
Note: The AI feature is only available to MLS Enterprise customers.
🛠️ 1. Adapt existing content
You have already created content but now want to change the wording or structure? No problem! The AI offers you several options.
🔄 Your customisation options:
Change the form of address
You can choose between personal (e.g. addressed directly to trainees) and factual (neutral, e.g. for worksheets) wording.
Shorten
You can use it to make longer texts more compact - ideal for quick repetitions or if your trainees use MLS on their mobile phones.
Simplify
The AI feature adapts the language of complex technical texts to make them easier for your learners to understand - perfect for use with young professionals.
Complete
Incomplete content is added - e.g. missing steps in a work instruction.
Customise
Here, you can use prompting (clear instructions to the AI system) to specify what changes should be made to the existing text. One example is that you can add emojis to the text. ✏️
And this is how you proceed: You select the text or just a section of text that you want to revise. Then select one of the options from the menu - and the AI will do the rest 💡
🧠 2. generate new content
Want to create new content straight away? The AI feature in MLS will help you here too!
📝 Your options:
Have keywords formulated
For example, you enter ‘solid lubricants’ - and the AI creates a complete, technically appropriate description or instruction.
Have specialised concepts explained
You can have concepts such as drilling, turning or milling explained in an understandable way - ideal for new learning tasks in MLS or repetitions.
Custom AI prompt
You can enter your own prompts and use them to generate exactly the texts you want. For example, you can refer directly to links (e.g. to homepages, simulators). This knowledge is then incorporated directly into the content generated by the AI. Please note that images cannot be generated via prompts.
And this is how you proceed: Select one of the options for creating content. An additional window opens in which you enter your keyword, your concept or your own prompt. You can also select the language in which the content should be generated. The AI does the rest 💡
👩🏽🎓 3. Create questions/forms
In addition to subject content, you can also have questions generated directly by the AI. This saves you a lot of time.
There are two options:
You define a learning objective and then have suitable questions generated.
You have content in a task step and can have suitable knowledge questions generated on that basis.
Here's how it works! You can find the AI question generator when you create a new inline form (i.e. directly in a learning task).
1️⃣ By learning objective
To create questions based on one or more learning objectives, simply enter them and select the number of questions you need. Finally, specify the types of questions you want. You can choose from: text question, checkbox, sequence and cloze text.
Simply click on ‘Create’ and your questions are ready. Of course, you can still edit them.
2️⃣ By Content Task step
Alternatively, you may already have content in an MLS task step and can use it to create questions. Here's how to do it: Create a new inline form and select the AI feature.
Select the option ‘Create questions based on a task step’. You can choose whether you want to use one or more task steps as a basis.
In the next step, select how difficult the questions should be. You can control this using the Bloom Level (which ‘invented’ this learning objective taxonomy back in 1956). Then decide how many questions should be created and what type of questions they should be. Finally, click on Create.
Important: When you create questions based on a task step, only the text is used. Images, PDF files and SCORMS are not taken into account.
