With workflows in Microsoft Teams, you can automatically bring messages from MLS into your Teams channel or chat. This way, you won't miss any important information and you'll have everything in one place.

Important: This feature is exclusively available to customers who have purchased the Enterprise licence package. 🛒

🚀 Step-by-step guide

1️⃣ Check requirements

  • You have access to Microsoft Teams.

  • You can create your own workflows in Teams (Power Automate is integrated).

  • Your MLS access is active.

2️⃣ Set up channel & start workflow in Teams

  • First, set up a Teams channel where you want to receive notifications from MLS. To do this, click on a channel in the MS Teams menu under ‘Teams and Channels’ and then click on ‘Create Team’ in the top right-hand corner.

  • Select the type of team (private/public) you want to create. In most cases, this will be a private channel that only invited users can access. Also, create a name for the first channel.

  • If you have created a private team, you can invite your users here. Of course, you can also do this later.

  • Your new team and the channel you created will appear in the overview on the left. To set up the workflow, click on the three dots: The context menu will open. Click on ‘Workflows’.

  • In the next step, you will see a large number of options. Tip: Enter ‘Web’ here to display the workflow for the so-called webhooks. Click on the template.

  • You will then see this screen. Click on ‘Continue’.

  • In the next step, you can see which team and channel your notifications from MLS are sent to.

  • Your workflow is now set up. You will see a URL. Copy it using this icon 🗋

  • Go to MLS, log in, select ‘Account’ in the top right corner above your name. Select ‘User settings’ and paste the URL you copied from MS Teams. Done! ✔️ All notifications you receive from MLS (e.g. when your learners have completed tasks) will now also be displayed directly in MS Teams.

  • You will then receive messages sent via MLS (e.g. learner has completed task) directly in your MS Teams.

💡 Tips

  • Set up notifications in Teams so you don't miss anything important

  • You can edit or pause the workflow at any time
