Overview of the current status of projects

Updated over a week ago

The Assigned Projects menu item in MLS2 allows you to keep track of what your learners are currently working on at all times – both at an overall level and for each individual learner. This feature helps you to plan training and development projects transparently, track their progress and coordinate tasks efficiently. πŸš€

πŸ—‚οΈ 1. Overview at project level

The overview shows you how many trainees are currently assigned to projects. As in the assigned learning tasks area, you can filter by status (e.g. all phases, not started, in progress).

Of course, other filters are also available, such as searching by project title, user or group.

If you want to get an overview of the status of all your learners in a compact overview, click on the project link.

In the compact overview, you can now search for individual users and/or the status of learning tasks (since each project consists of a number of learning tasks).

Clicking on one of the learning tasks in your project opens a detailed view showing which learners are currently working on it and how far they have progressed.

From the overview, you can jump directly to the assessment of the learning task, for example. Note: A new tab will open so that you can continue to view the project overview.

Why this is helpful:

  • You can see at a glance how well your learners are progressing.

  • You can identify deficits in the project at an early stage and take countermeasures.

  • You have central control over learning progress in MLS projects.

πŸ‘€ 2. Detailed view per learner

In addition to the compact view for the entire project, you can also view the progress of each learner in detail. πŸ”

For this purpose, you will find a fold-out area for each project where you can see the status of each individual in the project. Since β€˜All phases’ is selected as the filter at the status level in this example, you can see both learners who have not yet started and those who are already advanced via the task status.

You can see even more details for each learner by clicking on the β€˜View’ button πŸ‘οΈ. The β˜‘οΈ indicates which tasks they have already completed. From the view, you can jump directly to the assessment of learning tasks (a new tab will open so that you can switch back to this detailed view at any time).

Benefits for you:

  • You get a feel for how the learner is progressing.

  • You can give specific feedback on individual tasks.

  • You have complete documentation for discussions or assessments at all times.

🎯 Summary

With the β€˜Assigned Projects’ feature in MLS2, you can:

  • view all learning projects in one place

  • track each learner's progress in detail

  • identify progress and areas for improvement in a timely manner

  • provide structured, transparent and modern training πŸ’Όβœ¨
